Registration to attend the MHEAC European Alum Symposium in Edinburgh in person is now full. We encourage you to please join the waitlist if you would like to attend in person. Please note, if you are already on the waiting list for registration or any tours, we will be in touch as soon as a place becomes available for you.
We still have optional extras available, such as tours and whiskey tastings, but please book these before it is too late! They are filling up fast.
In the meantime, why not register to attend Online! Our Virtual Registration will allow you to participate live in all panels and keynotes on Saturday and Sunday, as well as connect you with all alums attending both in-person and virtually. This ticket can be booked using the registration links below.
1) You will notice there are two registration links this year. Please click the appropriate one for you:
a) US Dollars: Allows you to pay by card at registration, and you will be charged in US Dollars
b) Great British Pounds: Allows you to pay by bank transfer (either local or international) after registering. Your registration confirmation will provide the payment details.
2) As always, we have discounted tickets available for alums who have graduated from 2016 onwards and full price tickets for all other alums and guests.
3) There are several optional events that are open to all attendees and guests of attendees who may not be attending the conference. You will be able to add these to your registration:
a) Thursday, November 5th: Monkey Barrel Comedy Club
b) Friday, November 6th: Optional tours (please note that each person can only attend one tour as they occur concurrently)
c) Friday, November 6th: Whiskey Tasting
d) Sunday, November 8th: Climb up Arthur’s Seat or Seated Lunch at a Local Restaurant
4) New this year, we have online tickets! These tickets include live participatory access via Zoom to all panels and keynotes (i.e. Saturday and Sunday morning). Additionally you will receive access to an online community so you can connect with both in–person and online attendees.
5) If you are applying for financial assistance, please register for your space and then complete the relevant application form linked in your registration confirmation or here.
6) We know that this symposium will be very popular. As such, we have capped the number of tickets per region. This may mean that you are put on a waiting list initially. However, if all of the tickets for a particular region were not sold within the first two weeks, those tickets will be re-allocated to those on the waiting list.
7) You will receive a confirmation email after registering. Please allow up to 15 minutes for the email to arrive in your inbox and check your spam if you have not received it.
