Mount Holyoke European Alum Council (MHEAC)
Active since 1987, the Mount Holyoke European Alum Council network reaches out to over 1,300 alums living on the continent and it encompasses 20 local Alum groups representing more than 25 countries. We are passionately dedicated to fostering connections among alums living in Europe and beyond and we also support potential and current students from the region and international MHC students abroad.

Our team is dedicated and truly multicultural and multigenerational, brought together by our shared love for Mount Holyoke and what it meant to us.

We are welcoming, enthusiastic and we love to communicate!
Our regional Facebook groups and websites allow local communities to dialogue at a local level and our European Facebook group brings us all together (we have more than 1,040 members and every alum is welcome!)
We also like to get together and have fun:

In 2024 we organized 38 local events across the continent, including 11 Mountain Day gatherings

Every other year we go really big, and we offer alums and students worldwide the chance to gather in Europe and attend one of our inspiring and fun symposia

When distance is a challenge, we get together online… and in several languages! Every Sunday evening, we host a virtual M&C gathering led by our British team and every other Thursday our team in Paris hosts a fun conversation group that allows participants from all over the world to polish their French. Zoom links published on our European Facebook group each week.
Our Instagram account shares pictures of our most recent gatherings, and our quarterly newsletter brings you the latest news from across Europe, including interviews with fellow alums.
